Vince McMahon to release some stars

Dave Meltzer recently spoke about the upcoming NXT releases on Wrestling Observer Newsletter and said:

“I’ve heard names on the chopping block. A lot of guys who’ve been there for a long time, those are the names that have been talked about”

Bruce Prichard is also been said to be joining Vince as the gold and black brand would undergo some huge changes in the future. However, Triple H and others who have been operating will also likely be looking over the operations but Vince will be heading the show now. Is Triple H Losing Job In WWE?

The September 14th episode will see the developmental brand return to live programming with Vince and Bruce Prichard taking over.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer spoke about NXT’s changes. He went into McMahon and Prichard’s role in coming up with big decisions, and then he shared that he was told Kevin Dunn, WWE Executive Producer & Chief, Global Television Distribution was the brain behind the new NXT logo.

“This is basically what I heard. The story that Vince and Bruce will be executive producers, I was told is not the case. But then again, I don’t even know who knows what right now because everything’s in transition. Most of the people in NXT don’t know anything.”

“But I was told that they (McMahon and Prichard) will… like the ‘big picture’ stuff, they’re taking over. The new logo was from, I had heard Kevin Dunn, but it’s from that side. The major stuff, yeah, it’s gonna be them, but they’re not gonna be like producing every segment of the show, I don’t think. That may be wrong.”

We will see what are the other changes that would be made going forward.
