It’s no secret that from the time that he walked in to his un-timely passing, Ultimate Warrior had an issue with his boss, Vince McMahon. On the flip side, it’s also no secret that Vince McMahon (and countless others) had very real heat with Ultimate Warrior as well. Were the two enemies at all times? They were actually friends during Warrior’s prime, and did a lot together.Shane McMahon Calls Out Ultimate Warrior ‘Lie’.
A&E recently showed their newest piece of their wrestling documentary series which was focused on the legendary life and times of the Ultimate Warrior. Warrior was invincible in the ring, but still a human outside of the ropes. Looking past the controversy that surrounded Ultimate Warrior, he sadly passed away after his induction into the WWE Hall Of Fame from heart failure as he collapsed onto the ground.
A;E took us behind the scenes of Warrior’s time in WWE during his heyday when he was on top of the world. One trait of Warrior’s that has stuck out to fans through the years is his natural charisma and legendary jet-fueled promos. A scene in the documentary that has stuck out to many is seeing Warrior and Vince backstage readying Warrior for a promo that was actually an apology to a fan.
One Twitter user, podcast host Kevin Castle, stated the following about the scene: “Ok that behind the scenes clip of Warrior & Vince going at it over a promo was so like Woah..lol. We all know it isnt real but u can see these wrestlers from back then had to get so into ‘character’ they could unravel any minute. Vince yelling jim. Its a work. Its a work. Crazy.”
Warrior: F**k regrets certain things. I don’t know what to say!
Vince: You don’t have to say anything, I understand that.
Warrior: No you don’t. Because I’m f**king making a video tape to a kid!
Vince: That’s all it is. A work, we’re working here!
