Vitor Belfort ‘Proves’ Oscar de la Hoya Lied In Video?

Vitor Belfort seems to have some answers to questions that many have. As far as we are aware, Oscar De La Hoya has Covid. He is currently home, so there’s no word on if he still does have Covid, but either way, the protocol is to wait out two weeks after a negative test after you recently tested positive for Covid. Could it be possible that Oscar De La Hoya threw the fight? As Chael Sonnen reported recently, Oscar was on a big bender during training camp. What’s the truth? At a recent interview, Vitor is seen being asked a question about when was the point in time in which he found out that Oscar De La Hoya would not be facing him in their ‘could have been’ face off.

As transcribed by Wrestling-Edge, Vitor stated: “Uhm, when we signed the contract – for every pound I have to pay $250,000, but you know, I’m glad that he posted a video – he’s happy. I think that fight will happen soon. That fight has to happen.”

A journalist then asks about what Vitor said about the contract for the fine that is listed for the weight.

Vitor: “After I signed my contract, I found out the next day that the fight, you know, wasn’t happening, so….I’m happy that he’s happy and he’s healthy. I know a lot of people are losing their loved ones. This is serious stuff. You asked the question and I answered the question.”

A journalist then asks Vitor’s coach if he believes that Oscar De La Hoya contracted Covid.

Vitor’s coach states: “I will say this, I was skeptical.” Vitor Belfort agrees with an “Mhm.” Vitor’s coach continues: “He was doing well and then it seemed rather extreme.”
