Vitor Belfort Using Drug For Evander Holyfield Fight?

MMA veteran star Michael Bisping is not a fan of the former UFC champion Vitor Belfort. Bisping had previously suffered a TKO defeat to Belfort in 2013. In that fight, he sustained a retinal detachment in his right eye as the result of a head kick from Belfort. The loss Bisping suffered was considered controversial, as at that time Belfort was on testosterone replacement therapy.

Michael Bisping opens up on Vitor Belfort

This Saturday night in Florida, Belfort is set to fight former four-division champion Evander Holyfield. Belfort was originally scheduled to fight six-division champion Oscar De La Hoya but things changed quickly a week ago, as De La Hoya was forced to withdraw due to COVID-19. Belfort was regarded as the bigger man against De La Hoya and he is now facing a heavyweight in Holyfield. It’s Belfort who is viewed as the smaller man in the contest. Bisping is fully back Holyfield in the upcoming fight – and he hopes the 58-year-old veteran comes away with a brutal knockout victory, and questioning if Belfort is using drugs.

“I hope Evander beats the f— out of him. That’s all I’m going to say, I’m not going to go into a technical breakdown of it. God knows what Vitor’s been doing. We knew he had good boxing, we knew he had fast hands, we knew he could pack a punch,” Bisping said on his podcast.

“Evander Holyfield is a big dude… I f—— hope [he beats Belfort]. I would take great pleasure in that. I don’t care what you say, he was on juice and he beat me fair and square. When people beat me in the past, I don’t harbor a grudge, I wish them all the best… He’s just a piece of sh!t. I don’t give a f—… I hope Evander batters him.”
