Evan Karagias is in hot water after the mugshots of the former WCW wrestler came out. The former WCW performer was recently charged with simple assault and injury to personal property.
According to the Gaston County Sheriff’s Office, and reported by Fightful, Evan Karagias, 49, was arrested by Belmont Police on Wednesday, November 1. His arrest happened at 1:36 AM and he was released by 2:48 AM. The former wrestler posted a $2,500 secured bond to secure his release.
He wrestled for World Championship Wrestling from 1997 to 2001 is a former WCW Hardcore Champion and WCW Cruiserweight Champion. It’s worth noting that he had a spectacular run in the company despite the small duration.

Evan Karagias is not actively participating in events and matches
Evan Karagias is known for his time as a member of the 3 Count. It saw Karagis paired alongside Shane Helms and Shannon Moore. The former WCW wrestler isn’t taking any recent bookings and it needs to be seen if he will be picked up by any promotion.
WWE would not be a fit for him, and only AEW seems to be the possible location for the former WCW Hardcore Champion. Tony Khan would have to make him an offer he can’t refuse, but it needs to be seen if any business will be interested in having him onboard.
