WCW at WWE WrestleMania! Former WCW and WWE World Champion Booker T was recently was interviewed by The Miami Herald, during the interview the WWE Hall of Fame stated that he will be apart of the ‘Granddaddy of Them All’ by stating that he is going to be apart of the preshow panel and do special guest commentary during one of the matches, although he did not specify which match that would be. Booker T hasn’t been a commentator on a WWE PPV in quite some time. WrestleMania 37 is scheduled to take place as a two-night event on April 10 and 11, 2021 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. Credit to Wrestling Inc for the quote. Vince McMahon’s plans for WCW in 2021 were recently revealed.
“I’m gonna be on the [preshow] panel and I’m also doing special guest commentary on one of the matches. I don’t wanna give away which match yet.”
In other news regarding Booker T, the former five-time WCW Champion in conversation with a fan stated that he would love to get back in the ring and compete against former WWE Intercontinental Champion, Lance Storm. Credit to SportsKeeda for the below.
“It’s crazy, these many years later I’m still part of the crew. I’m always trying to pass on [knowledge] and instill some of what we did back in the day. I still get such a rush out of doing this job, just to be a part of it. Hopefully, I’ll be doing it for a long time.”
