WWE Hall of Famer and WCW legend Ric Flair recently confirmed that he will make his presence felt at WWE Royal Rumble Premium Live Event in 2023. Following this weekend’s (November 26) Survivor Series show, WWE’s next premium live event will be Royal Rumble, which is scheduled for January 28, 2023 in Philadelphia.
Ric Flair confirms
On his ‘To Be A Man podcast, Flair stated that he will be at the San Antonio premium live event. The 2x Hall of Famer noted:
“I’m gonna be there (at Royal Rumble). They didn’t say don’t tell anybody.”
Flair also stated that he has been invited to the WWE Raw 30th Anniversary special on January 23:
“I’ve been invited and it’s a f**king big deal. Why, because it’s Raw and it’s a big f**king deal. I’m on it, hell yea are you kidding me? 30 years.”
It is currently unclear whether WWE plans for Flair to appear on these shows, of if he will just be backstage at the tapings.
Meanwhile, The Rock, who is one of the greatest stars in pro wrestling history is expected to be at Royal Rumble 2023.
He has had a legendary pro wrestling career in WWE. Fans are eagerly waiting to see him back in the squared circle. ‘The Great One’ slated to make his return to the company soon to set up a match against Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. There is speculation that he might return at Royal Rumble next year. The Rock could return to WWE sooner than expected, it has now been claimed.
