When Finn Balor is expected to return

Finn Balor successfully defended his NXT Title against Kyle O’Reilly at NXT TakeOver 31. However, he broke his jaw in two places during the match. Balor underwent surgery for the injury last week and is currently recovering.

This is not the first time Balor was injured while he was a champion. He had to relinquish the Universal Title after winning it due to a shoulder injury in 2016. However, it seems he will not have to relinquish the NXT Title.

According to E Medicine Health, jaw fractures similar to the ones Finn Balor suffered take around six weeks to fully heal. So the projected time table for Balor’s return seems to be around the middle of November.

Many jaw fractures require surgery. Because of that, patients may need to follow up with an oral surgeon. Healing time varies with the type of fracture; in general, the average time to heal a jawbone fracture takes about six weeks.

Balor also revealed he did not require wires following his surgery. We will keep you updated on his condition.
