Lars Sullivan injured his knee earlier this year and his push was halted. He has been on the shelf ever since. Sullivan recently uploaded a video of himself working out in the gym. However, that does not mean he will be returning anytime soon.
According to a report by Fightful Select, Sullivan is nowhere near ready for an in-ring return. He is not expected to come back until Summer 2020 at the earliest.
Despite Lars Sullivan being seen training, he’s nowhere near a return, we’re told. Internally, he’s been listed as June 2020 as a “return” date. We’ve also heard that his recovery was going slower than originally expected, as of a few months ago.
Hopefully, WWE will have plans for him once he finally returns to the company.
