When MJF might be returning; AEW backstage’s perception of WWE releases

MJF has not competed in an AEW ring for a while now. He has made appearances during shows, where he was seen gambling, but he did not wrestle. On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, he was shown sporting a sling, but it appeared to be a joke as he claimed it was for a hangnail.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about MJF’s return to the squared circle. Meltzer confirmed that MJF will be making his in-ring return during the next set of television tapings. He might already be in quarantine preparing for his eventual return.

With AEW already having filmed enough content to last them till Double Or Nothing next month, we can expect him to make a comeback after that. It is uncertain whether MJF really is injured or not, but it was noted that he has a history of elbow issues.

WWE recently fired over one hundred employees from the company, including several WWE Superstars. The workers of AEW were certainly paying attention to what was happening in, as they call it, “the other company.

According to a report by Fightful Select, AEW talent are praising Tony Khan for his leadership during these troubling times.

Without providing specifics, he’s went above to make sure that everyone is taken care of and doing well, including some per-show employees.

We will have to see how much content AEW will be able to film during their next set of television tapings.
