Who might replace Jerry Lawler on RAW commentary team

Jerry “The King” Lawler is now part of the RAW commentary team, but it is not a permanent role. WWE is already planning to replace him.

According to Brad Shepard on Oh, You Didn’t Know patreon, Tom Phillips is expected to be the replacement for Jerry Lawler. Here is what he said:

According to a source in WWE, the company has Tom Phillips working on other projects and he is expected to join the Raw commentary team and replace Lawler as of early December – this was the plan as of Thursday of last week.

It is to be noted that Tom Phillips is currently being worked as a producer in WWE. There is still time before December, so plans could change at any time.

We will keep you updated on this matter once we get to know more.

And Meltzer says he is to replace Michael Cole on Smackdown with potentially McGuiness replacing Lawler.

I think it once again shows that if these “insiders” throw enough names at the wall, one of them has to stick.
