Who The Undertaker’s Wrestlemania 36 opponent might be

Undertaker-Greatest Royal Rumble

The Undertaker made an unexpected appearance on this week’s RAW that many people did not see coming. Now a match featuring him has been made official for Extreme Rules.

Currently, The Dead Man can pick what kind of matches he wants to do. His return was in order to save WWE’s plummeting ratings. Apparently, The Undertaker has more than just one match following Extreme Rules.

According to a report by Brad Shepard on Oh, You Didn’t Know, he was told by his source in WWE that the Undertaker has apparently hand-picked his WrestleMania 36 opponent and it is none other than Drew McIntyre.

WWE decided on this program in order to improve ratings and Shane McMahon might be involved in some way. It works out well for Drew as he had no creative plans following his program with Roman Reigns.

It will be interesting to see if Drew does end up becoming The Undertaker’s opponent at Wrestlemania 36.

That’ll put a lot of butts in seats

It really is. I remember what great shape he used to be in and now he looks worn out like Flair did post-95 in WCW. Not saying Taker needs a bra like Flair did, but he still looks like trash compared to how he looked when he was the Lord of Darkness and his early days with the biker gimmick.

What really bothers me about him continuing to wrestle is that it’s going to be one of the things people are always gonna remember about him. “The guy went 5-10 years too long before retiring”, etc. He’s got one of the most storied careers in the business. His work speaks for itself. By him not giving it all up, continuing to perform, and being a shell of his former self, he’s just doing himself a vast disservice (on top of him potentially hurting himself or someone else by still going). It’s a shame.

I’ve said this many times before, but he’s my favorite wrestler. He is the reason I got into pro wrestling. But he once said in a WWE magazine article, that he didn’t want to be one of those guys who hung around too long, until they were just a shadow of their former selves. And he’s literally become that in the last several years. He should have hung it up after 20-0. And NEVER lost to someone like Lesnar.

Called it, nothing but trying to boost that ratings drop. He jobbed for Reigns, so Drew is second tier to Reigns. The irony. Both men trying to prove things to the other. Taker at the top, Reigns to Taker, then Drew to Reigns. Pawn takes Knight, to King, Check.

Father Time. Time over in under 3 minutes.

Yep yep, same here, he’s one of my favorites but i haven’t watch any of his most recent matches and i’m not going to, he should of retired years ago

I legitimately shook my head when I read the headline for this article. I love Undertaker as much as the next person but he really needs to give it up. You have nothing left to prove, please stop wrecking your body even more. It’s unnecessary.
