Why TNT might have approved blood on AEW Dynamite

This week’s AEW Dynamite concluded with a steel cage match. Cody Rhodes managed to beat Wardlow and it ended up becoming a very bloody affair.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about the cage match on this week’s AEW Dynamite. There was a lot of blood during the match, which does not happen often anymore for fans to see.

Dave Meltzer thinks that the amount of blood TNT is allowing AEW to show on television is very interesting. He pointed out that they obviously had to clear it beforehand, and he thinks it shows just how much TNT is behind the company. He added that TNT knows they are underdogs in the fight, so perhaps they are giving AEW more leeway due to this.

TNT is certainly a great partner for All Elite Wrestling. On top of allowing them to use cuss words, they also allow blood to be shown.
