Why wrestlers were not ringside during AEW Dynamite

This week’s AEW Dynamite was live from Daily’s Place. However, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, there were no wrestlers at ringside. Only Sammy Guevara was allowed to sit at ringside for one segment.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned this week’s show had extra rules. This would explain why there were no wrestlers present ringside.

Meltzer talked about how AEW had to adhere to having no more than 10 people at a given time. To create an atmosphere, they had a dressing room with a few superstars.

There were wrestlers present in the dressing room and even Chris Jericho joined in the fray when Cody Rhodes competed against Jimmy Havoc.

We will have to see what the company has in store for next week’s AEW Dynamite.
