Will Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley main event Extreme Rules?

It’s not exactly a spoiler at this point. With rumors swirling that Brock Lesnar will defend against Roman Reigns or, less likely, Bobby Lashley at Summerslam, it’s not exactly shocking to hear that the main event for tonight’s Extreme Rules PPV will more than likely be Reigns vs Lashley.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported today that the current plan for tonight’s show is for Lashley and Reigns to close the event in Pittsburgh. The WWE Championship match between Rusev and WWE Champion AJ Styles will take place in the third hour, but will not close out the show.

Reigns taking yet another main event away from another deserving champion definitely won’t help his case with the WWE Universe, and that’s coming from a fan of the Big Dog. Hopefully, the WWE comes to their senses tonight and places the WWE Championship at the end of the PPV where it rightfully belongs.

Well once Braun Strowman cash in an become Universal Champion he will be headling WWE PPV. I do believe he to will have a long title run once he becomes Champion.

Its not really that weird. Since Lesnar has been AWOL for so long, the IC title has legitimately become the world title on RAW. And when you have a 30 man iron man stipulation, it would be silly to have that go on after the World title which had no stipulations.

This was definitely a moment where I was glad to be completely wrong. Didn’t expect to see Rollins/Ziggler to main event, either. Still find that weird.

Not only did it not headline the show, it had three matches after it, including a womens match.
Granted Styles/Rusev did not headline, but Reigns/Lashley was not even in the last hour.

Because PW insider said it, does not mean it will happen. Why does WWE have to come to their senses? Saying that is assuming this guy is the be all and end all of knowledge.

It better not. That’s all I have to say.
