On tonight’s NXT, Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai challenged for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. However, what took place after the match was the truly newsworthy.
After Nox and Kai’s unsuccessful title bout, they were attacked by NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler, Marina Shafir, and Jessamyn Duke. Soon after, Rhea Ripley appeared to make the save. Unfortunately, she was jumped by Io Shirai and Bianca Belair.
Candice LeRae appeared to break up the assault, after which an all-out brawl broke out. Referees and NXT security broke everyone up, drawing a line between Nox, Kai, Ripley & LeRae and Baszler, Shafir, Duke, Shirai, & Belair.

NXT General Manager William Regal came out to put an end to it all. This year will see the first-ever women’s WarGames match. Later on, it was revealed that Baszler and Ripley would captain their respective teams.
