WrestleMania 37 Ticket Sales Are ‘Embarrassing’

WrestleMania 37’s ticket sales have been slower than past editions of ‘The Show of Shows’ and although that is hardly surprising given the circumstances of COVID-19. However, it’s still interesting to note that this year’s WrestleMania is not as in-demand as other years. Noted professional wrestling journalist and editor of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that there will be 25,000 actual fans in the stands for each night of the event. As of Thursday, there are over six hundred tickets left for tonight and three hundred and thirty-three tickets for Sunday. This WrestleMania 37 surprise featuring RVD and the nWo just leaked.

Meltzer would also note that the cheapest ticket price on the secondary market is thirty-six dollars for night one and thirty-eight dollars for night two respectively. This is down from WrestleMania 35 in comparison when the cheapest available ticket on the secondary market was seventy-four dollars. The sale price being down nearly forty percent for night one and slightly over thirty percent for night two.

WrestleMania 37 is scheduled to take place as a two-night event on April 10 and 11, 2021 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. This year’s edition of WrestleMania will also be the first edition of ‘The Granddaddy of Them All’ to be featured on NBC’s Peacock streaming service network.
