WrestleMania Match Changed After Health Emergency

While this year’s WWE WrestleMania 38 premium live event is currently underway at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, outside of Dallas, there was one scary moment early on during the event. As The Usos defended their titles against Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs. Boogs would deliver a stalling suplex to Jey but had his knee eventually give in. It would appear that Boogs would suffer a legitimate injury to his knee during the match and according to Ringside News, wrestling insider Bryan Alvarez is reporting that the finish of the match was changed because of this apparent injury to Nakamura’s tag team partner.

During a recent edition of the Sessions with Renee Paquette, the former Authors of Pain joined the podcast to discuss a variety of topics. Here, the former WWE RAW tag team Champions would tell a story about Baron Corbin. Credit to Wrestling Inc for the below.

“[Baron] Corbin went up to me and he said ‘Hey young boy, you’ve got to pick up that crate of beers man, and bring it back to the hotel.’ I look around and I said ‘Excuse me?’ He said ‘I did the same thing when I was a young boy, you’ve got to pick up the beer man. I’m thirsty.’

“I was like ‘Are you seriously talking to me like this? I understand if you said hey bro, can you please grab those beers? Everybody new does that, that’s the way to go. But you’re calling me young boy in front of everybody here man, are you serious? Baron, come here man.’ In front of the whole crowd, everybody went quiet. I said ‘Come here, are you seriously talking to me like this?’ He goes ‘I apologize, I didn’t mean to say it like that, I did it, everybody does it.’
