In a surprising move, WWE has announced that Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles will be facing each other in a WrestleMania rematch during this week’s episode of SmackDown Live.
This announcement is even more surprising considering the fact that these two have already faced each other 3 times in recent weeks since WrestleMania 34.
The fact that Shane McMahon recently announced that Styles will defend his Championship against Nakamura at Money In The Bank makes this decision questionable as the company would be giving away the plausible main event of the PPV.
As noted before, recent reports suggest that Officials are planning a title feud between AJ and Samoa Joe after the current Champion culminates his rivalry with the Japanese Star.
While not confirmed, after this news, it looks more likely that the Styles-Nakamura match at Money In The Bank will be the last of their current rivalry and Styles will start his feud with Joe afterwards.
