WWE 2000’s Legend Return On SmackDown Spoiled

Carlito made a surprise appearance during the Backlash event in May, delighting fans and sparking rumors of his return to the company. It is now being reported that Carlito’s official return to WWE may take place on July 7 at the SmackDown event held in New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

During the Backlash event, Carlito intervened in the San Juan Street Fight between Bad Bunny and Damian Priest, coming out to even the odds when The Judgment Day interfered in the match. This unexpected return further fueled speculation that Carlito had signed a contract with WWE, as he had previously withdrawn from an upcoming independent wrestling show and informed several promoters about his WWE deal.

Reports from PWInsider indicate that WWE is targeting the July 7 SmackDown event at Madison Square Garden for Carlito’s official return to the company. The news aligns with Carlito’s recent statement during a pro wrestling event where he confirmed the rumors of his return. He even playfully mentioned that his indie wrestling price would go up after appearing at WWE Backlash.

Fans eagerly await the confirmation of Carlito’s return and look forward to seeing him back in the WWE ring. With the potential date set for July 7, all eyes will be on Madison Square Garden to witness the comeback of the charismatic wrestler known as Caribbean Cool.
