We noted before how WWE announced The Undertaker for the upcoming episode of SmackDown Live taking place from the legendary Madison Square Garden.
And now the company has announced another big name for its counterpart event. They have confirmed that the former World Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin will be appearing from the Raw episode taking place a night before the mentioned SmackDown show in the same arena:
“Stone Cold” Steve Austin will be on hand to raise some hell when Monday Night Raw comes to New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Sept. 9.”
Though it’s worth mentioning here that it’s unknown whether Austin would be making a televised appearance on the show and it’s possible that he only appears during a dark segment instead.
WWE will be taping episodes of Raw and SmackDown Live from Madison Square Garden on September 9th and September 10th respectively and this will be the first time in a decade the company will be taping a televised show from the arena.
