WWE & AEW Raw In Florida Rumor Revealed

Xero News has posted a WWE and AEW teaser about Raw in Florida.

Following Vince McMahon’s return to power in WWE, there have been significant changes in the backstage operations of the company. With Triple H reportedly relegated to “busy work,” questions have arisen regarding how Vince McMahon will treat his roster of talent, particularly Cody Rhodes. However, according to Dave Meltzer’s comments on Wrestling Observer Radio, Cody may not have much to worry about.

Meltzer noted that it was Vince McMahon himself who personally recruited Cody Rhodes, not Triple H. Though Triple H used Cody effectively during his tenure, it was Vince who flew down to meet Cody when he was a free agent and convinced him to sign with WWE. Therefore, Cody is not someone that Vince dislikes, but rather someone he brought into the company.

Vince McMahon’s return to power is not expected to harm Cody’s title chase. In fact, during a recent episode of RAW, a stipulation was teased where Cody could never challenge for Roman Reigns’ title again. However, the match never took place, and Cody did not win at WrestleMania 39, which was reportedly a decision made by WWE long before Endeavor bought the company.

“Another thing is that Vince is the one who personally recruited Cody Rhodes, not Triple H. Not that Triple H didn’t use him well, he used him great. But, Vince was the one who flew to Cody with Bruce Prichard and Cody at the time wasn’t looking to go.”

“Bruce Prichard called and asked ‘are you interested,’ and Cody said ‘I might as well hear them out, I’m a free agent.’ Then Vince flew down to see him, and once Vince flies down to see you, you know, he’s got that aura, and he’s convince. Cody still had to go back and forth and everything, but it was Vince who largely was the one who got this deal done, so Cody’s not some guy that Vince hates, he’s a guy that Vince brought in.”

Overall, while there are concerns about how McMahon’s return to power will affect WWE, it seems that Cody Rhodes is not likely to be negatively impacted. With McMahon being the one who recruited him in the first place, it seems that Cody has a secure position within the company.
