WWE and AEW could be allowed to have live audience as soon as next week

It appears that the live audience could return to wrestling programming sooner than many may have thought.

The Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis and his “Re-Open Florida Task Force” have recently issued a three-phased plan to reopen the state. The first phase of it will begin from this Monday which will be applicable to much of Florida with the exception of several areas.

What’s interesting to note here is that the phase one guidelines mention that the sporting events can be produced with limited occupancy of venues:

“Large spectator sporting events should use strict social distancing guidelines and limit occupancy of venues to 25 percent of building capacity.”

This likely means that both WWE and AEW could be allowed to incorporate a live audience to their programming and fill places like the Performance Center to 25% of their capacity.

Whether or not the companies choose to do so will be seen in the future and it would be interesting to see if they face any problems if the promotions make the decision to bring the audience back to their shows.
