WWE Announcer Nominated for NY Emmy, McMahon Plugs Cena Movie, Emma, More

– Vince McMahon tweeted a link to the Trainwrecked trailer today and commented on John Cena’s “different side”:



– WrestlingDVDNews.com reports that WWE’s “Destruction of The Shield” Blu-ray that comes out next will feature two deleted scenes that were originally reported as DVD extras – a look at the rivalry between Dean Ambrose and William Regal, and a look at Roman Reign as Leakee in FCW.

– In case you missed it, WWE Network pulled the “12 Days of Attitude” section last weekend when they added the “WWE Honors” section for Black History Month. WWE Network noted on Twitter that the section was removed because it was a special promotion.

– Emma noted on Twitter that she will be working tomorrow night’s WWE NXT TV tapings from Full Sail University, possibly for another match against Carmella.

– Roger sent word that WWE announcer Scott Stanford has been nominated for a New York Emmy Award in the Daily or Weekly Sports Program category for his work with New York City’s PIX11 Sports Desk, specifically a compilation that aired on June 6th, 2014. Stanford was also nominated in categories for news anchors and sports anchors. The awards will be announced on May 2nd. Joey Styles posted the following on Twitter:
