WWE announced at the SmackDown TV tapings on Tuesday night that the 2016 Payback pay-per-view event will be held on Sunday, May 22 in Newark, New Jersey at the Prudential Center.
WWE held the 2015 edition of the PPV event in Baltimore, Maryland at the Royal Farms Arena and in 2014 and 2013 the event was held in Rosemont, Illinois at the Allstate Arena.
No word on when tickets go on sale for this event.
