WWE announces Thunderdome virtual fan experience

As reported earlier, WWE will be moving their production to the Amway Center and they will be producing content from there onwards. It seems there will be a few changes, which includes The Thunderdome.

WWE will be bringing the Thunderdome to Monday Night RAW and Friday Night Smackdown. WWE advertises it as having “a state-of-the-art set, video boards, pyrotechnics, lasers, cutting-edge graphics and drone cameras, will take WWE fans’ viewing experience to an unprecedented level.” All of this will start once Smackdown airs from the Amway Center this week.

It was said that the new fan experience will “take residency” at the Amway Center and that it will be a brand new kind of experience “in conjunction with The Famous Group and its proprietary technology.”

WWE Executive Vice President, Television Production Kevin Dunn also gave a statement during the announcement of WWE Thunderdome. According to Dunn, what WWE has planned will be unprecedented.

“WWE has a long history of producing the greatest live spectacles in sports and entertainment, yet nothing compares to what we are creating with WWE ThunderDome. This structure will enable us to deliver an immersive atmosphere and generate more excitement amongst the millions of fans watching our programming around the world.”

We will have to see how the WWE Thunderdome will be.
