Friday Night Smackdown will be airing on FS1 this week. The company is moving the show to FS1 this week due to Major League Baseball’s World Series. With it, WWE Backstage will also make a return for one night only this week. However, it seems that almost did not happen.
WWE Backstage will air immediately following the conclusion of Friday Night Smackdown. According to a report by PW Insider, this was not the initial plan. It was reported that the initial plan was to air Talking Smack on FS1 following SmackDown, but that did not end up happening.
It was not explained why the company had no desire of airing Talking Smack on FS1. We will have to see what takes place during WWE Backstage this week.
