WWE apparently planning major cross-brand match for Survivor Series

This year’s Survivor Series will feature cross-brand matches between RAW, Smackdown Live and NXT. WWE is wasting no time in booking dream matches.

AJ Styles apparently pitched The OC vs The Undisputed Era match at Survivor Series. While the match will happen eventually, it is unlikely to take place at Survivor Series.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is apparently planning for a secondary title match across all three brands at Survivor Series. So we might see the US Champion AJ Styles face off against Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura and NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong in a triple threat match.

“Styles is currently booked in the three secondary title match on the show.”

We wonder when WWE will book this match. It is sure to be a highlight of the event and a show-stealer.

I would not be surprised to see Bryan vs Wyatt for the Universal title to be added to the card after the events of Smackdown last week.
I get the feeling they will be the only two title matches as I don’t see them doing an NXT title match due to how close the next Takeover is.

Pretty sure its just Brock’s belt on the line that night

Unless they are listed as title matches, then they are non-title.
Hell, its quite common for no titles to be online at Survivor series since the brand split.

I read or heard this somewhere last week, so not really a breaking story of any kind.

    Not really news.

So should we assume that these are non-title matches?
