WWE had scheduled Kane to appear as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble match, though it’s unknown if they have gone back on this idea, Fightful Select reports. WWE also wanted to have Santana Garrett appear. PWInsider.com is reporting that Seth Rollins is backstage and is scheduled to return.
Mia Yim has been forced to drop out of the Royal Rumble after testing positive for COVID, after reports that Keith Lee was exposed. “This morning at around 10:30 am, I debunked a rumor stating I was positive with Covid,” Yim wrote.
“For that, I must make a statement. I have been getting tested every week for several months now, all have been negatives. I was negative last week. I got tested this afternoon, less than an hour ago and it came back positive. Please respect my privacy. Please stay safe, wash your hands, and wear a mask. See you all soon!”
It is unknown if Keith Lee will be able to participate in the Royal Rumble match, as he has missed the last two episodes of Raw and been off WWE TV for nearly three weeks, disappearing from television shortly after Drew McIntyre tested positive and missed two episodes of Raw before returning on Monday. WWE had big plans for Keith Lee at the Royal Rumble.
