WWE ‘Ban’ Fans From Network Due To Peacock

Peacock have been censoring tons of WWE content recently. WWE’s official response was to NYTimes.com, “Peacock and WWE are reviewing all past content to ensure it fits our 2021 standards.” Some fans are reporting their WWE Network accounts have been canceled prior to the April 4th shutdown due to the Peacock move, as seen below.

Vince Russo told Sportskeeda about the Peacock deal, “You know what’s sad to me? I’ve just lost all hope in this company of doing anything outside of the box. There’s the business side and the creative side. They hired this guy, Nick Khan, that is making some phenomenal business deals between Peacock and Fox and USA and Saudi and all these business deals.

They’re making money hand over fist. And as I said many times, my concern is there’s no reason for them to make the creative better. It really is sad because you could make this into such an incredible show. I just don’t think they care!”

He added, “I have to believe Fox and USA network, I can’t believe for a second they’re happy with the numbers, I can’t believe for a second they’re getting what they paid for. I also believe with the WWE, in their mind, there are ten networks standing in line waiting to sign them up. That is my fear. My fear is there is no reason for them to improve this product right now.”
