WWE Ban Ex-Star From Company After Rape Accusation

Triple H has brought back several stars to the company including Dakota Kai, IYO SKY, Johnny Gargano, Karrion Kross, Hit Row, Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt. Fans have been wondering which stars are in line for a return. However, it has been reported which stars are not in plans for a WWE return.

Triple H is not bringing back Enzo and Cass

Ringside News reported that they have asked around and a tenured member of the WWE creative team confirmed to Ringside News that, “I don’t know of any interest in Enzo and Cass.” That being said, not every Superstar who was popular from Triple H’s incarnation of NXT is coming back.

Enzo Amore was released from WWE due to rape allegations that were made about him. That story was later disproven, and no charges were filed, but the fact that he didn’t inform WWE about the police investigation was the final nail in his coffin with the company.

Big Cass was released due to personal reasons as he battled substance abuse issues. There were also reports that he had a difficult situation with his ex-girlfriend Carmella backstage. He has since cleaned up and is now featured on AEW television.

In a recent appearance on the DDP Snake Pit Podcast, Amore, now going by the name Real1,commented that he feels that it was a huge mistake that this appearance was never followed up on, and could have been something that saved Ring Of Honor.

“Ring of Honor did not follow up that match with me and Cass. You could’ve sold out Madison Square Garden with Enzo and Cass, G.O.D., and the Briscoes in a tag team title match. You could’ve, you would’ve sold out the Garden again — and now Ring of Honor sold out to Tony Khan. The company would still maybe be alive if they booked that match. But then again, that’s on them.”
