WWE Banning Ex-World Champion From Hall of Fame?

Bret Hart is a certified legend and a respectable member of the WWE Hall of Fame Class. His contribution to the world of professional wrestling goes beyond dimensions. He has helped multiple superstars and continues to be an inspiration for a plethora of up-and-coming wrestling superstars.

Bret Hart’s career was cut short after Goldberg hit him with a botched kick during a match at Starrcade in 1999. The Canadian wrestler had to hang up his boots early because of it. Due to this, Bret Hart suffered post-concussion syndrome.

During a recent fan signing as part of a Facebook Live stream on October 17th, Bret Hart said that if Goldberg’s in the WWE Hall of Fame, former superstar Barry Horowitz should also get in. He also believed that Goldberg should be removed from the Hall Of Fame.

I always thought that if Goldberg got into the Hall of Fame, then Horowitz should’ve gone into the Hall of Fame. Horowitz can actually wrestle. Goldberg never could. I think he got in there for hurting everybody he worked with.

While Bret has forgiven Goldberg for his actions, he hasn’t forgotten the incident and continues to hold a grudge. We would have to see if time will heal this wound. It’s been a long time and one would have to see if Bret has found the place in his heart where he can forgive the former Universal Champion.

What do you think of Bret Hart’s comments? Chime in.
