WWE Biggest Female Star Quits For New Company?

Ronda Rousey’s departure from WWE after her match at SummerSlam has ignited speculation about her next steps, and a new rumor from The Daily Mail has generated considerable interest among fans. The Daily Mail suggests that Rousey is eyeing a potential return to the UFC, marking a pivotal moment in her post-WWE career.

The report indicates that Ronda Rousey’s focus has shifted towards the possibility of participating in one last UFC bout, with the aim of competing at UFC 300, projected to occur sometime next year. Her WWE contract expired following SummerSlam, and her exit from the company was solidified with a loss to Shayna Baszler.

Beyond her potential return to the octagon, Rousey is also exploring opportunities in television and film. Her acting ventures include roles in movies such as “Charlie’s Angels” and “Furious 7.” More recently, she appeared on the reality TV show “Stars on Mars,” indicating her versatility and interest in various entertainment avenues.

While Rousey’s enthusiasm for a UFC return is evident, the report highlights a potential factor that might influence her decision—the possibility of expanding her family. She and her husband, Travis Browne, welcomed their daughter, La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō, in October 2021. The prospect of having another child could potentially impact her career plans, but it’s an important consideration for her.

The report suggests that Rousey enjoyed her time on “Stars on Mars” and is exploring opportunities in the reality TV genre, which is expected to witness increased programming in the coming months. However, her desire to balance her career pursuits with her family aspirations might temporarily take precedence. The report indicates that Rousey is open to the idea of having another child, as she values the significance of expanding her family.

The source said that Rousey ‘enjoyed’ her time on the show and ‘with the likely influx of reality programming coming up in the next few months, she is looking into those opportunities.’

However, one thing that might put her UFC and screen dreams on hold is having another child.

She has a one-year-old daughter, La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne, with her retired fighter husband Travis Browne but another child could be in the pipeline ‘as she would love to try for one more,’ the source said.

They added: ‘She really wants to do it all [career-wise], but in the next few months don’t be caught off guard that she is having another kid because that is something she feels is one of the most important things to happen for her again.’
