Fans noted that several offensive messages were shared from AEW veteran star Matt Hardy’s account. Some of the messages also targeted Matt’s wife Reby Hardy, and his brother Jeff Hardy. Another name that was targeted was Vince McMahon.
Matt Hardy’s Twitter account was hacked
In the Matt Hardy Twitter hack, the hacker posted a Tweet that read: “that stupid f***ing sexual assaulting pedo Vince McMahon is a fraud and stole $2m from me. go back to touching little girls u stupid old freak.”
Meanwhile, during a recent episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast the former WWE RAW Tag Team Champion shared his experience working in WWE.
Hardy revealed that he had a lot of issues with John Laurinaitis and claimed that he may have enjoyed firing the Broken Warrior back in 2005.
“John Laurinaitis and I, we had a lot of issues. I felt like whenever he called to release me in 2005, I felt like he was getting a little bit of enjoyment out of it because he’s like, ‘this guy clashed with me and he questioned my judgment,” Hardy said.
The wrestling veteran also mentioned that Laurinaitis’ job is indeed a tough one, as calling people to deliver the bad news could be very difficult.
On the latest edition of AEW Rampage, Jeff Hardy, who recently returned to the company, mentioned that he wanted to become AEW tag team champions with his brother one more time during their final run in their career. They were interrupted by The Gunns (Colten and Austin Gunn) and two teams are likely to square off against each other at a later date.
