To fill in some gaps quickly, WWE made the choice to casually write off many big stars after WrestleMania and just have them pop up every now and again to keep momentum up behind their name. While I do think that’s a good idea, I just don’t feel that WWE has a strong enough roster to be able to write off such names as Banks and thrive just as well without her and many others like Bray Wyatt.
That being said, Bianca and Sasha broke character during the recent running of the ESPY awards to accept their award for best WWE moment. The moment was huge for not only women everywhere, but African American women and African American culture to finally have the spotlight they have deserved for so long within WWE.
While Bianca did most of the talking during the interview, Sasha Banks made sure to give a small shoutout by stating: “We did it!” WWE recapped Sasha at the ESPY’s on Smackdown, the first time they’ve featured her on air during her hiatus from WWE.
