WWE Bring Back Fired Star At Smackdown

It looks like Davey Boy Smith Jr is back with WWE. Smith debuted in the company in the late 2000s, debuting as D.H. Smith on the October 22th, 2007 edition of Raw, where he would defeat Carlito. WWE cancelled this huge SmackDown show.

However, Smith would make his biggest impact in WWE as a member of the Hart Dynasty alongside Tyson Kidd and Natalya on the ECW and SmackDown brands, eventually winning the WWE World Tag Team Championship and the WWE Tag Team Championship – both with Tyson Kidd.
After being released from his WWE contract in 2011, his last appearance on WWE programming was inducting his father, Davey ‘The British Bulldog’ Smith into the WWE Hall of Fame’s 2020 Hall of Fame class.

On tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown Smith would make his WWE return, in a dark match. Smith teamed up with Austin Theory of NXT against Xyon Quinn and Odyssey Jones. It is not confirmed whether or not that Davey Boy Smith Jr has signed a new contracted deal with WWE or not. Smith has most recently wrestled in the independent promotion, Major League Wrestling [MLW] from 2018 to 2020. Smith left that promotion after losing to Lo-Ki in the opening round of their Opera Cup of December of last year.
