WWE ‘Canceled’ Women’s WrestleMania Main Event

It’s hard to keep track of what WWE are thinking one day to the next. Their world is ever changing and never seems to stop doing so.

Vince Russo recently spoke with Billi Bhatti (former WWE creative member) on his show ‘The Nitty Gritty Dirt Show’ speaking about a multitude of topics including original WrestleMania 37 plans that have changed.

Amongst the growing list of WrestleMania 37 changes including a ‘Three Stages Of Hell’ match featuring Randy Orton vs Edge; Sasha Banks vs Bianca Belair has also seemingly changed.

The original plan for the matchup was that it was going to be the main event of night one for WrestleMania, but plans appear to be changing as it is no longer a headline event in Bhatti’s notes.

WWE have also changed another women’s match. Charlotte Flair vs Asuka for the Raw women’s title was originally planned for WrestleMania 37.

Charlotte vs. Evans was the plan, but with Lacey being pregnant, that isn’t happening.

To note, the Randy Orton vs Edge ‘Three Stages Of Hell’ match was changed to a cinematic match featuring The Fiend and Randy Orton. Vince Russo appeared disgusted by this idea.
