Speculations had begun that Jake Paul might arrive in Saudi Arabia to support his brother Logan Paul, who is set to get a shot at Roman Reigns’ Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at the Crown Jewel 2022.
Jake Paul is already in Riyadh
Jake Paul posted a story on his Instagram handle. The image appears to be of a boarding pass to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio previously reported that the YouTube star is set to be at the location, and the report now seems to be true.
‘The Problem Child’ took to his Instagram account and posted a picture with his brother at the venue of the event. He wrote:
Tomorrow my brother will become the WWE champion of the world. Inshallah. @loganpaul.
On Corey Graves’ After The Bell podcast, Paul Heyman explained why Logan Paul is a worthy potential title winner. Reigns’ special counsel also dismissed comparisons between the 27-year-old and actor David Arquette, who won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship in 2000:
“He wouldn’t be a David Arquette with the title,” Heyman said. “He wouldn’t be a disgrace. He takes it very seriously. Whether this is the end of Roman’s reign or not, that’s another story. But, if by quirk of fate and act of God and the sky’s have a malice towards The Tribal Chief and Logan Paul becomes the Undisputed Champion, he wouldn’t be an unworthy champion.”
We will now have to wait and see what goes down at Crown Jewel.
