It was reported earlier by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE had talked to Enzo Amore and Big Cass regarding a possible return to NXT.
However, now it seems that might not be true. Mike Johnson from PW Insider reports that he asked around regarding this rumor and WWE has denied ever having talked with them.
In speaking to WWE officials today, we are told there is no basis on the story and that there have been zero discussions between the two sides.
When Enzo Amore was asked about a return to the company, he said he could not handle working full-time in WWE. While it is uncertain whether the team might return to the company or not, WWE is definitely denying it right now.
