WWE Hall of Famers the Bella Twins, Nikki and Brie Bella recently said that there’s a bunch of women, for example Mercedes Monet (Sasha Banks in WWE) who WWE did not want to show in video clips at last night’s 30th anniversary of Monday Night RAW.
The pair did not appear on the program but took to Instagram Live and weighed in on the show. Nikki brought up how the women’s evolution was not showcased. Nikki and Brie mentioned the likes of Mercedes and Saraya(formerly Paige in WWE) as names WWE did not want to mention or show:
Nikki: … Another good memory on Raw. How didn’t they showcase anything from the women’s evolution?
Brie: Also, the way we did our matches on there —
Nikki: Because Sasha Banks is in it and they’re like, we can’t. Mercedes is too over and we can’t say her name.
Brie: There’s a couple other girls and ‘Raya. There’s a bunch of us they don’t wanna show. That’s fine.
Nikki: That’s fine. When you do what they don’t wanna do…
Brie: It’s not what you don’t do, it’s what you do-do.
Sasha Banks(now Mercedes Mone) had her fans wondering about her future in pro wrestling. She finally gave the answer when she made her shocking debut at Wrestle Kingdom 17. She made her debut as ‘The CEO’ Mercedes Mone. She immediately went after KAIRI and made it clear she is coming for the IWGP Women’s Championship. Mercedes Mone looked ready for action, and fans simply couldn’t get enough of her.
