Chelsea Green was a recent guest on Chris Van Vliet’s show, Insight. On the episode, Chelsea talks a multitude of everything professional wrestling from her come up, to being featured on Tough Enough, to Lucha Underground, and ultimately, her recent firing from WWE. Chelsea also seems to have the hots for a big name in the wrestling world as she’s looking for her superstar hubby. Vince McMahon Fires Two Big WWE Names.
Since Chelsea Green made the list of other superstars to be let go by WWE, she has been speaking out about her time in the company as well as the ups and downs that have come with it. With her most recent interview, she went a bit deeper than usual and also spoke about her personal life.
Chelsea admitted that she needs to get a green card or a visa to live in America as she’s Canadian. She said that many fans don’t realize that it was very hard for her to be released for that reason. Chris asked: “So, you now need to get a green card through marriage?”
Chelsea responded: “Oh, trust me, I already talked to Matt – Okay, so I was released on Thursday night and on Friday night, on Matt’s (Matt Cardona’s) way to Wisconsin I think it was, I had texted him and said ‘We need to get married so you need to think about when that’s happening.”
Chris laughing then asks: “So, without getting too technical, you had an O1 visa?”
Chelsea responds: “So, I had a P1 visa. I had a few before. It was transferring into an O1 visa and then a green card.”
Chris: “The way that those visas work, for people that don’t know is that you can only work for the company that has sponsored your visa. So, if you don’t work for that company anymore – you don’t have a visa!”
Chelsea closes the segment: “Yeah, it’s very eye opening to Americans.”
