WWE ‘Expanded’ Roster Firing List Revealed

WWE are yet again making headlines for horrible reasons. As many of our readers are aware of, WWE have let go of tons of talent over a very short period of time. WWE have also released a lot of backstage and office help as well. Now, WWE have just gotten rid of what feels like their entire NXT roster. The only question at this point is how anyone would want to watch any products pertaining to WWE with almost no stars left…WWE ‘Mass Firings’ After SummerSlam Leak.

WWE just wiped out a bulk of NXT talent with one huge round of releases. It was also recently reported that releases should become a regular thing in WWE. While Bray Wyatt’s release from the company was a major shock, it should be noted that many more shocking releases are to come as this is far from over. WWE President Nick Khan and CFO Kristina Salen continue efforts to cut costs and there’s no end in sight.

During the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast, Andrew Zarian stated that another big set of releases is likely coming by the end of 2021. He specifically used the term “larger scale” for a reason.

Andrew stated: “I put out a tweet, ‘more is coming,’ I was told, this was a couple weeks ago, that there are going to be two more releases coming like, on a larger scale. This was one, so I’m assuming that there is another one by the end of the year. Ric Flair’s situation was more of a “I want out” situation than a release that WWE planned.”

WWE currently feel that a smaller roster of talent would be easier to handle, so they will continue to move forward towards that mindset. Below, you can read the full list of NXT stars now gone.
