WWE files for new Revival trademarks

WWE has reportedly filed for a few trademarks related to the former tag team champions the Revival, potentially in preparation of their departure from the company.

According to reports from PWInsider, WWE has filed an application to trademark The Mechanics as the name for wrestlers and the term No Flips Just Fists for merchandise. Mechanics is the name Revival originally used during their initial NXT run.

This move from the company is interesting especially because it comes after the Revival filed for some trademarks of their own including ‘Top Guys’ and ‘Shatter Machine’.

It’s believed that the Revival has filed the application in preparation for their departure from the company while WWE is trying to stop them from using the mentioned terms outside of the promotion.

The Revival’s contracts were set to expire in April this year but the company has reportedly added 10 weeks to the contract of Dash Wilder for the time he missed due to injury.
