WWE Fire Another Star After SmackDown

The aftermath of the WWE and UFC merger, which concluded last week, has sent shockwaves throughout the wrestling world. Fans had been speculating about the fate of various talents, with many fearing that numerous wrestlers would be released from their contracts. Unfortunately, those fears materialized as WWE embarked on a series of releases that sent several stars packing.

The list of released talents included some high-profile names. Mustafa Ali, whose departure had been anticipated, was among the first to confirm that he was no longer part of WWE. Shortly thereafter, it was revealed that Emma, another well-known name in the wrestling world, had also been released. Adding to the roster of departures, Riddick Moss, who happened to be Emma’s fiancé, joined the ranks of free agents.

The domino effect of releases continued as it was reported that Rock Boogs, a rising talent in the company, had been let go from his contract. The shocking announcements didn’t stop there. In rapid succession, WWE released other notable names such as Aliyah, Shelton Benjamin, and Elias, leaving fans in disbelief.

The company’s ruthless approach extended beyond the main roster, reaching into the developmental territory of NXT. Even promising NXT Superstars like Ikemen Jiro found themselves among the casualties of these sudden releases.

One of the lesser-known names affected by these cuts was former bodybuilder Melanie Brzezinski, who had signed a developmental deal with WWE just last year. Melanie had been diligently training to realize her dream of becoming a WWE Superstar and even had the opportunity to make an appearance on WWE television as part of WWE’s Spring Rookie Class earlier this year.

Taking to her Instagram story to address her departure, Melanie Brzezinski confirmed the news and expressed her gratitude for the incredible experience with WWE. She viewed this chapter of her life as a stepping stone toward the pursuit of another dream. Melanie thanked her supporters for their unwavering support throughout her journey with the company and conveyed her determination to find what is truly meant for her in the future.
