WWE Fired Killian Dain For Sad Reason

WWE had released Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, Lana, Ruby Riott, Santana Garrett, and Buddy Murphy earlier this month and now the company has released yet another group of WWE NXT and 205 Live Superstars including the likes of Fandango, Tyler Breeze, Killian Dane and many others.

The company’s latest trend for hiring new pro wrestlers is different from what it used to be. As reported by  Dave Meltzer during the Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE has changed its criteria when it comes to signing new talent and is now looking for younger and physically bigger in-ring performers.

While someone like Killian Dain definitely ticked all the boxes in that regard, he was still let go by the company in the end and there seems to be a good reason for that. This ultimately came down to the fact that Killian Dain was simply not Vince McMahon’s type of pro wrestler and so he was released from the company.

“Yeah, but that’s not Vince’s type of guy, and he had been through it, and I think that just, obviously, they didn’t just think, you know they have got 300-pound guys, and I think they just didn’t feel he was one that they were going to push,”
