AEW EVP and performer Cody Rhodes is one of the top stars of the promotion. He is a popular star among the fans but it seems his colleague, the AEW TNT Champion Miro is not a big fan of ‘The American Nightmare’.
Miro refers to Cody Rhodes as ‘office boy’
Miro recently spoke with Jerry Coughlan of WrestleSlam. He was portraying his on-screen heel gimmick and gave his thoughts on the former two-time TNT Champion. Sting Breaks Silence On Triple H ‘Burial’
Miro, the former WWE star said he isn’t a fan of Rhodes and referred to Rhodes as an “office boy” due to his EVP status within the company.
Here is what Miro had to say:
“Nobody likes Cody Rhodes,” Miro responded. “Why should I like Cody Rhodes? He’s an ‘office boy.’ I don’t like ‘office boys.’ He’s trying to be on top of me, but I’m the only boss. Nobody is trying to boss me around.
“I used to be in a company where people made me sing and dance, but no more. This is my time, this is on my terms. I got no boss over my head, so I don’t care about Cody Rhodes, his reality shows, or whatever else he’s doing.”
Miro is set to defend his AEW TNT Championship against Lance Archer at tonight’s AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view.
