“Update; Our dear Bob has passed away. Those we love never truly leave us. There are things that death cannot touch. We will always love u uncle Bob Miller until we meet again.”

In a recent development that sent shockwaves throughout the wrestling community, it has been reported that WWE has merged with UFC to form a new company under the supervision of Endeavor, a leading entertainment conglomerate. As a result of this merger, Vince McMahon, the longtime owner and creative mastermind behind WWE, has announced that he will no longer appear on WWE TV as the infamous “evil authority figure” that fans have come to know and love (or hate).

During an interview with CNBC’s Scott Wapner, McMahon and Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel discussed the implications of this major sale. When asked about his involvement in the creative process, McMahon stated that he will still be involved “on a higher level,” but will not be getting into the weeds of the day-to-day creative decisions.

The fate of McMahon’s highly popular yet controversial Mr. McMahon character was also discussed during the interview. McMahon proclaimed that “Mr. McMahon is dead,” indicating that this larger-than-life character will no longer be a fixture on WWE programming. When Emanuel was asked whether or not Vince would appear on TV in the future, he stated that it would be “his choice, purely his choice.” However, McMahon quickly shut down this idea, stating that it simply wouldn’t happen.

In addition to addressing his future role in WWE, McMahon also commented on a past scandal that led to his retirement from the promotion. He claimed that he has owned up to every mistake and has moved on from the incident.

Despite this major development, many questions still remain about how this merger will affect the WWE creative process, the company’s employees, and more. As the wrestling world awaits more information, it is clear that the landscape of sports entertainment is once again in flux, and fans can only speculate about what the future holds for their favorite superstars and promotions.
