WWE Hall of Famer Tamara Lynn Sytch (Tammy Sytch) known by her ring name “Sunny,” is set for trial. Over the years, she has faced multiple legal issues.
She found herself amid a controversy when she was involved in a fatal three-car crash on U.S. 1 on Friday, March 25. The former Sunny was arrested for DUI Manslaughter following the car accident that caused the death of 75-year-old Julian LaFrancis Lasseter of Daytona Beach.
Police said Sytch failed to stop while driving southbound on U.S. 1, just north of Granada Boulevard, when she crashed into a stopped vehicle. A blood test later revealed that Sytch was under the influence with a blood alcohol content of 0.280, which is three and half times the legal limit in the state in Florida.
According to News 4 Jacksonville (News4Jax), Sytch is now scheduled to appear in court next week on Monday, August 21 for trial.
Five days earlier, on August 16, Sytch will stand before the court for a docket sounding a precursor to trial in which the judge determines if both sides are prepared to proceed forward with the trial or if more time is needed. The docket shows there have been multiple depositions taken over recent months in this case.
