Zbyszko’s WWE Hall Of Fame speech was also an infamous one and now it seems the reason for that might have been revealed. WWE Hall of Fame speeches tend to become emotional ramblings, as most inductees have a lot of things to get off their chest. This included Larry Zbyszko, whose 2015 WWE Hall Of Fame speech was criticized for a lot of reasons.
While speaking on the Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash talked about the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame. He recalled how ‘Mean’ Gene Okerlund didn’t like Larry Zbyszko’s Hall Of Fame speech one bit. In fact, Nash even claimed that Zbyszko was stoned before giving his speech:
”So it’s 2015 and [Mean] Gene’s next to me, and Zbyszko had gotten stoned before [the show began]. Larry had gotten stoned before he went out and did the Hall of Fame. Of course, you think in your mind ‘I’ll get stoned and I’ll be really entertaining.
