WWE in talks with NJPW star

New Japan Pro Wrestling has many performers WWE would like to sign with the company. However, it won’t be possible for them to sign many NJPW stars. Michael Elgin recently announced that he will be parting ways with NJPW and WWE might reach out to him.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that after Elgin’s NJPW deal expired on March 31st he is free to go elsewhere. It was also said that his decision not to re-sign with NJPW was his own decision. This might also be the start of WWE having talks with Elgin.

“There has also been prelim talk with him and WWE, which, if something comes of that, would make sense both that he’s been quiet since they don’t want you talking about it and also that he’s leaving.”

Perhaps we might get to see Elgin in a WWE ring in the future since anything can happen in the world of professional wrestling. We will keep you updated regarding Michael Elgin’s WWE status.
